Problem 1: The "extras" menu seems to have a quirk in them, the cursor might occasionally disappear Workaround: Sometimes the menu still works, the cursor occasionally doesn't work on some players. Some players just show a black screen. Discs Affected: Disappearing cursor in volume 1, no menu display in volume 2 Players Affected: Panasonic DVD-A110, among others for volume 1, no player given for volume 2. Severity: 1, the disc is a good value and it still works.

Problem 2: The extras menu might lock up Workaround: I think this might be just a misinterpretation of the first problem of having no visible cursor. Or maybe not. Discs Affected: all? Players Affected: ? Severity: 1

Problem 3: it seems that several frames at a time are blurred together in high motion scenes. I can pause during motion and see elements of four or five frames at a time. I don't know if this is in the master or a fault of the encoding, I don't have the VHS. Workaround: ? Discs Affected: all? Players Affected: all? Severity: 2

Recalled:	No. I don't expect anything to come of this, I have not seen very many reports of problems.

Kiddy Grade

Problem 1: Many parts of the English stereo and Japanese stereo tracks on Kiddy Grade DVD 2 are effectively mono: Japanese 2.0 episode 4 (OP, episode, ED, preview) episode 5 (OP) episode 6 (OP) extras (creditless OP) English 2.0 episode 4 (OP, episode, ED, preview) episode 5 (OP) episode 6 (OP) extras (creditless OP) Workaround: none Discs Affected: volume 2 Players Affected: not a player issue? Severity: somewhat annoying

Problem 2: There have been several complaints of mistimed subtitles and subtitles that are cleared from the screen too quickly, on Kiddy Grade DVDs 1 and 2. Workaround: ? Discs Affected: volumes 1 and 2 Players Affected: not a player issue? Severity: somewhat annoying

Problem 3: The english 2.0 and 5.1 in the opening, endings and extras are mistimed. Workaround: ? Discs Affected: volumes 1 and 2 Players Affected: not a player issue? Severity: somewhat annoying

Note 1: Funimation DVDs usually include two subtitle tracks. One is a transcript of the dubbing, called a dubtitle or an SDHH (subtitle for deaf & hard of hearing) track, the other is a more accurate to to the original subtitle translation of the Japanese audio track. If you want the accurate track, you need to use the menu to pick the Japanese + subtitle option.
